Today, President Vjosa Osmani received the Director of the NDI in the Republic of Kosovo, Ambassador Nancy Soderberg, who congratulated her on taking office and expressed consideration for the good cooperation, emphasizing the commitment of the NDI to advance this cooperation.
Whereas, President Osmani stressed that she appreciates the substantial contribution of the NDI in Kosovo, especially in the field of promoting open government, in installing a new culture of policy-making for political parties, and in advancing the position of women in governance.
Discussing about the fields of cooperation, the parties expressed full readiness for close cooperation towards empowering women and girls to ensure their higher participation in political life.
The parties also discussed about the possibilities for activating young people in the labor market, providing them with the necessary space for active participation in political life in the country.
