The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Kosovo, Ms. Eevamari Laaksonen. On this occasion, Madam President congratulated the Ambassador on her new assignment and expressed her belief that during her mandate, the excellent relations between the two countries will be further expanded.
President Osmani praised Finland as an important partner of Kosovo, reiterating her gratitude for the continuous support that this country has provided to our country’s Euro-Atlantic journey.
In this spirit, Madam President recalled her official visit to Finland, which she described as an important moment in bilateral relations and as concrete evidence of friendship and mutual respect between the two countries, underlining the commitment to strengthening cooperation in areas of common interest.
During the meeting, the latest developments in Kosovo were also discussed, as well as opportunities for further deepening of the partnership between Kosovo and Finland.
