The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the letters of credence of the newly appointed ambassador of Austria Georg Schnetzer, whom she congratulated on his new tenure and expressed her hope that during his mandate, the bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to intensify further.
According to President Osmani, Austria remains an important ally, an ally which has supported Kosovo in various stages of its state building.
President Osmani thanked Austria for its steadfast support, emphasizing the importance of the continuation of this support in the integration of Kosovo in international organizations.
At the meeting with Ambassador Schnetzer, President Osmani expressed the need to strengthen the partnership between Kosovo and Austria, as well as cooperation in the field of education, culture, trade, as well as other areas of mutual interest.
