The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the ambassador of the United Kingdom in Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
The meeting discussed the latest political developments in the country, the preparations for the European Political Community Summit, as well as the bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and the United Kingdom.
At the Summit of the European Political Community, President Osmani, as in previous Summits, will represent the Republic of Kosovo. In this regard, the President and the ambassador discussed the topics that will be addressed at the Summit, as well as the Kosovo’s contribution to these topics. The summit will be held at Blenheim Palace in the United Kingdom in July.
The meeting also discussed bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and the United Kingdom in various fields.
In particular, President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the continued support of our British partners in the field of defence, and said that as the Supreme Commander of the Kosovo Security Forces, she is proud of the continuous achievements of the girls and boys of the KSF in the most prestigious military academies in the United Kingdom.
