The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, today received the UK Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
The latest developments in the country, as well as the early elections held on December 28, which were conducted in accordance with the highest democratic standards, were discussed at the meeting. In this spirit, Madam President reiterated the importance of the swift formation of institutions.
Further steps towards the finalization of Madam President’s initiative to conclude strategic agreements with the United Kingdom in areas of common interest, namely defense, security, and economy and trade, which were agreed upon during the visit of the British Foreign Secretary to Kosovo in April of this year were also discussed.
On this occasion, President Osmani also expressed her gratitude for the continued British support for Kosovo and its citizens.
