The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Mr. Jonathan Hargreaves.
The latest political developments in the country, including the situation created by the failure to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani and Ambassador Hargreaves emphasized the importance of the continuation of close cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom in areas of common interest, such as defense, rule of law and economic development.
In this context, President Osmani pointed out the importance of deepening the strategic partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom, especially in the field of defense and security, as a guarantee for peace and stability in the country and the region.
Madam President expressed her gratitude to the United Kingdom’s continued support in strengthening Kosovo’s democratic institutions,considering it to be a strategic partner.
