The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received in a farewell meeting the outgoing Director of UNICEF for Kosovo, Nona Zicherman, whom she thanked for her commitment so far.
Continuation of cooperation with UNICEF in the area of child rights, such as early childhood education, ensuring necessary infrastructure for access to pre-school institutions, improving the quality of education, and ensuring gender equality were the topics discussed during the meeting.
President Osmani emphasized the importance of providing children with quality education and empowering their well-being.
Meanwhile, Ms. Zicherman thanked President Osmani for her support and wished for continued good cooperation, even by her successor in this position.
