The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a farewell meeting the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, on the occasion of the end of his mandate in Kosovo.
President Osmani thanked Ambassador Orav for his commitment and contribution during his service in Kosovo, appreciating his role in strengthening cooperation between the institutions of Kosovo and the European Union, as well as in supporting the European perspective of the country.
According to President Osmani, the EU remains a key partner for Kosovo and that European integration is a strategic objective of the Republic of Kosovo.
The importance of continuing close cooperation between Kosovo and the European Union in advancing democratic reforms, strengthening the rule of law and the economic development of the country was also emphasized at the meeting.
