President Osmani received at a meeting the representatives of the French Development Agency (ADF)

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a meeting the Ambassador of France to Kosovo, Mrs. Marie-Christine Butel accompanied by a delegation of the French Development Agency (ADF), composed of Mr. Dominique Hautbergue, Head of the Regional Office for the Western Balkans, Ms. Mirela Mata, Strategy and Operations Officer for Albania and Kosovo and Mrs. Florence Dobelle, Head of Regional Economic Service for the Danube-Balkan area.

The activity of the French Development Agency in the region and in particular in the Republic of Kosovo was discussed at the meeting on which occasion President Osmani called for an increased activity and ADF support for our country.

President Osmani said that during her term, the protection of the environment, the empowerment of women and the protection of the rights of marginalized groups, especially children, are one of the top priorities in her engagement in the field of development agenda. The ADF representatives stressed that the focus of their work is in areas such as the green transition in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement, the empowerment of women, and the development of partnerships. In this regard, President Osmani offered her support, expressing readiness for continuous cooperation.

“We are aware that the decisions we make today will have an impact on the lives of generations to come, and will engage to formulate wise, comprehensive policies, which guarantee the protection of the environment and consequently of our health. In these efforts, we hope and believe that we will have the support of our allies and institutions such as the ADF “, said President Osmani.
