The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, received today at a meeting the Ambassador of Germany, Jörn Rohde.
Ambassador Rhode handed over to President Osmani the congratulatory telegram of the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.
President Osmani thanked the German Ambassador for the continuous support of the German state provided to Kosovo.
The general situation in the country and the region was discussed at the meeting and both parties also discussed the work carried out by Kosovo institutions that have implemented substantive reforms in the field of the rule of law.
Ambassador Rohde praised the significant progress made in the fight against corruption. It was also stated at the meeting that with such parameters, which help strengthen law and order, conditions are created for foreign investors.
