The President, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Nicola Orlando, who congratulated her on the task, emphasizing that the successful completion of the process of the constitution of the institutions has conveyed a positive message to the allies of the Republic serving as a guarantee of stability in the country.
Speaking about the current challenges and priorities during the presidential term, President Osmani stressed that no process can be achieved until vaccines are provided to the citizens of Kosovo.
In this regard, President Osmani added that pandemic management remains a top priority and that in this regard Kosovo needs the support of friends more than ever.
Further, President Osmani stressed that she will be actively engaged to fulfill her constitutional functions, such as foreign and defense policy, but also the advancement of the sustainable development agenda.
Likewise, President Osmani emphasized that she will work actively to create unity among the political actors in the country, which would contribute to the successful management of the processes of special interest for the country.
