The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting today with Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, Commander of the NATO Allied Joint Forces Command in Naples.
During the meeting, President Osmani highly praised the role of KFOR and its continuous commitment to guaranteeing peace and security for the citizens of Kosovo, and in this context, she reiterated that the relationship between the security institutions of Kosovo and KFOR is essential for the joint mission of stability and security in the country.
The President also highlighted that Kosovo remains fully committed to its Euro-Atlantic path, building the Kosovo Security Force according to NATO standards and fulfilling all commitments to the Alliance.
At the meeting, President Osmani stressed the security challenges in the north of the country and the ongoing threats from Serbia, emphasizing the importance of KFOR’s role as an important factor in preventing escalations and maintaining peace.
President Osmani expressed gratitude for NATO’s continued support and Kosovo’s determination to be a reliable and active partner of the democratic world.
