The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today a parliamentary delegation from Albania, consisting of members of the European Integration Committee, chaired by Jorida Tabaku.
The possibilities for the empowerment of the foreign policy coordination towards strengthening of the international subjectivity of Kosovo, with a special focus on the sphere of European integration, were discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo can benefit from Albania’s experience in the process of European integration and asked for Albania to continue being a strong voice for Kosovo. According to President Osmani, Kosovo counts on Albania’s support on its Euro-Atlantic path, in the process of membership in the Council of Europe and in other international organizations.
President Osmani added that Kosovo and Albania share the same values and that they are resolute in following the European path and are dedicated to peace and stability.
The parliamentary delegation from Albania has given support to Kosovo in the process of membership in the Council of Europe and has made it known that it will be by Kosovo’s side in integration processes, providing the maximum of their knowledge and experience.
