On the occasion of the United Kingdom’s Remembrance Day, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, together with British Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves and local and international representatives, paid tribute to honour the members of the British Armed Forces who lost their lives while serving with NATO forces in Kosovo (KFOR).
The fourteen British soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the mission in Kosovo were commemorated as a steadfast bridge of friendship and a lasting symbol of the enduring bond between Kosovo and the United Kingdom.
President Osmani underlined that they will be honoured on every anniversary as a reminder of the arduous path toward freedom and in gratitude for the decisive role of the United Kingdom in our journey toward liberty and independence.
