The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani participated at the inauguration of the “Fressia” tissue paper and paper packaging factory in Lipjan, a Golden Eagle Foundation project, where all employees are people with special needs.
While congratulating the Foundation director Shaqir Palushi on this initiative, President Osmani emphasized that people with special needs deserve to be active participants in the business world.
“An inclusive and diverse environment provides equal opportunities for all, fostering innovation, creativity and economic growth.
By empowering people with special needs to be part of businesses, we break down barriers and transform their lives. I encourage other businesses to follow your example, by employing as many people with special skills as possible”, said President Osmani at the inauguration ceremony of this factory.
According to President Osmani, businesses that employ people with special needs challenge stereotypes, break stigmas and promote inclusiveness.
“By supporting these businesses, we send a strong message that everyone has the right to follow their dreams and aspirations, regardless of their abilities,” emphasized President Osmani.
The Foundation director Mr. Palushi announced that the income collected from the sale of products will go to people with special needs.
