The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting with the U.S. Congressional Delegation in Dayton.
The delegation was led by Congressman Michael Turner, head of the U.S. Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The delegation also included Congressmen Brett Guthrie, Linda Sánchez and Joe Wilson.
President Osmani expressed her profound gratitude to the United States as a strategic ally of Kosovo. She emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations, expanding cooperation in the field of defense, as well as the potential for deepening economic cooperation and increasing U.S. investments in Kosovo.
During the meeting, she informed the congressmen of the security developments in Kosovo and the region, as well as Kosovo’s contribution to sustainable peace and stability.
