President Osmani met with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Prayout Chan-o-cha

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani in the framework of her visit to Thailand, met with the Prime Minister of Thailand Prayout Chan-o-cha with the focus of the conversation being the strengthening of interstate relations.

President Osmani thanked the Prime Minister of Thailand for the support of this country to Kosovo and at the same time asked for support in the process of Kosovo's membership in international organizations.

At the meeting with the Prime Minister of Thailand the President stressed that Kosovo sees this country as an ally in this part of the world and is interested in building friendly relations with the countries of Southeast Asia with Thailand's help.

At this meeting, President Osmani presented the opportunities and potential that Kosovo offers to foreign investors, mentioning the young and educated population as the main state asset.

To facilitate economic cooperation with this country, President Osmani pointed out the need for an agreement on investment protection and the elimination of double taxation. In this context, the President is working toward an increase of the exchange of goods and the movement of citizens between the two countries.
