The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has met with the Prime Minister of Iceland, Bjarni Benediktsson, under the framework of the 4th European Political Community (EPC) summit.
President Osmani said that Iceland is a country that provided the impetus to our journey and efforts for membership in the Council of Europe.
“In the meeting with the Prime Minister of Iceland, Bjarni Benediktsson, we discussed the strategic importance of successfully finalizing this journey, by highlighting that with Kosovo’s membership, we triumph in our commitment to the continuous advancement of human rights,” noted the President.
President Osmani thanked Prime Minister Benediktsson for the continuous support and confirmed the readiness to intensify cooperation to the benefit of our citizens.
