The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, in continuation of the meetings held during her visit to New York, met with the Prime Minister of Andorra Xavier Espot, whom she thanked for the support given to Kosovo's membership in international organizations.
According to President Osmani, Kosovo's strategic goal remains membership in the Euro-Atlantic community and that membership in the European Union and NATO will contribute to increasing the security and stability in the region.
Furthermore, President Osmani informed Prime Minister Espot that Kosovo has applied for membership in the Council of Europe and she asked for Andorra's backing.
The expansion of bilateral relations as well as the opening of new opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
