The President of the Republic of Kosov, Vjosa Osmani has met today with the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar in Munich, where the Security Conference is currently being held.
In her first bilateral meeting with President Pirc Musar, President Osmani congratulated her for assuming the office of head of the Slovenian state and expressed her full commitment to working closely in the continuation of strategic cooperation with Slovenia during her mandate.
The geopolitical situation in Europe, including the war on Ukraine and Russia’s destabilizing actions which also tend to destabilize the region through Russia’s proxies in the Western Balkans, was also discussed at the meeting.
The latest developments in the dialogue process, as well as the latest developments in the field of security in Kosovo and the region were also discussed.
President Pirc Musar informed President Osmani of her presidential priorities in foreign policy, including the continuation of the Brdo-Brijuni Summit. The commitment to continue the expansion of friendly relations and close cooperation with the Republic of Kosovo was also reaffirmed at the meeting.
