The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, received the Vice President of the European Parliament Rainer Wieland.
The integration process of the Republic of Kosovo in the European Union, as well as the latest developments in the country and the region were discussed at the meeting. President Osmani expressed Kosovo’s gratitude for the continuous support of the European Parliament to the integration of Kosovo into the EU and reiterated the need for this support to continue.
President Osmani among others singled out the unwavering commitment of the people and institutions of the Republic to integration into the European Union, also reflected in the full coordination with the foreign and security policies of the EU. President Osmani also spoke of the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to long-term peace and stability in the region.
