The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today received a delegation from the Europe Center of the Atlantic Council led by Jörn Fleck, senior Director.
During the meeting they discussed the latest developments in the country and the region, the next steps in the integration of the Republic of Kosovo in the Euro-Atlantic institutions, the dialogue with Serbia, as well as the possibilities of deepening the cooperation with the Atlantic Council.
Speaking about the current geopolitical developments in Europe, President Osmani emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to sustainable peace in the region and beyond, while she said that the full integration of Kosovo in the Euro-Atlantic institutions together with other democratic states in the region is vital for achieving this goal.
In addition, the President talked about the constructive role and proactive approach of Kosovo in the dialogue with Serbia, as well as the continuous coordination of the institutions of the Republic with allies and international partners. The President has reiterated the importance of protecting sovereignty, territorial integrity, constitutionality and protecting the functionality of the state at every step.
Among other things, it was also discussed about the strengthening of the partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States, as well as the deepening of cooperation with various programs of the Atlantic Council.
