It is with deep sorrow that we learned of the passing of Frank G. Wisner, a distinguished diplomat and valued friend of Kosovo.
His long and distinguished career in the service of the US diplomacy, including his role as an envoy to the Kosovo status talks, has left an indelible mark on our history.
Mr. Wisner was a man dedicated to peace and stability, acting with wisdom and integrity during crucial moments of international diplomacy.
His contributions to global affairs, as well as his commitment to Kosovo, will be remembered with eternal gratitude and respect.
President Osmani had the honor of working closely with Ambassador Wisner for many years and last spoke to him over the phone a few months ago to wish him success in the health battles he was facing.
His memory and work will always remain part of our history.
