The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today received the Chair of the Kosovo Judicial Council, Albert Zogaj, and Mr. Fejzullah Rexhepi.
With the proposal of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC), President Osmani decreed Mr. Rexhepi, the new President of the Supreme Court.
President Osmani highlighted, inter alia, the importance of the independent functioning of the judicial system and, particularly, the role of the Supreme Court within this system. To this end, President Osmani expressed readiness for close inter-institutional cooperation, within her constitutional competences and role for an independent, functional justice system, and which also ensures the trust of the citizens.
