The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has commemorated the 24th anniversary of the massacres in Pastasela in Rahovec and Burim in Malisheva.
“Today we remember the massacre carried out by the forces of the Serbian genocidal regime in Pastasela, Rahovec, where 106 residents of this village and surrounding villages were killed and massacred. On the same day in Burim, Malishevë, 42 civilians were killed and massacred.
The pain continues to be as great as on the very day of their murder, and the memory for them remains eternal.
Justice for the victims of the Serbian regime and bringing to light the fate of the forcibly disappeared are our permanent demands which we will never give up calling for”.
