The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani commemorated the anniversary of the Rahovec Massacre.

On July 19th 1998, the forces of the Serbian genocidal regime heinously killed almost 150 women, children and elderly, sheltered in Sheikh Myhedin’s Tekke in Rahovec, as well as in the place known as “Tuma”.
Today’s commemoration is not only an opportunity to remember this despondent day, to remember the past and to honor the victims, but above all, it is a call for justice.
The memory of lost innocent lives will be eternal, as shall our voice for justice echo until it triumphs!
