On 9 April 1999, in Lagja e Re and Rakoc of Kaçanik, 28 martyrs of the nation fell in defense of the civilian population from the barbarism of the genocidal regime of Serbia.
The continuous siege and shelling of Kaçanik caused the deaths of 32 martyrs.
Those who fell heroically and those who were martyred will be forever remembered, while justice will be our continuous aim to defend the truth.
May the memory of all fallen for freedom be eternal!
