The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, bestowed yesterday at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki the Presidential Military Medal to the Finnish Armed Forces.
President Osmani wrote:
Yesterday, at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki, I had the honor of bestowing the Presidential Military Medal upon the Finnish Defense Forces – in recognition of their unwavering commitment and tireless support to peace and security in Kosovo since 1999, as part of the d KFOR mission.
Peacekeepers are the heroes who make peace possible, even when it is difficult to do so. Thank you to Finland and every Finnish soldier for their irreplaceable role in maintaining peace and stability!
