The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, today awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit to the Mothers of Srebrenica.
President Osmani wrote:
On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, I had the honor to award the Presidential Medal of Merit to the Mothers of Srebrenica today.
Their unwavering courage in the face of the unimaginable pain of losing their loved ones, their determination to turn grief into hope, and their memory into an unceasing search for justice are an inspiration for entire generations.
Eternal memory to all victims of Milosevic’s genocidal regime.
