The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, awarded Mr. Hasan Arat the Presidential Medal of Merit in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of sport, as well as his continuous support for the Republic of Kosovo.
During the official ceremony, President Osmani underlined that Mr. Arat is a distinguished personality in international sport and public life who, through vision, dedication and integrity, has made a valuable contribution to Kosovo. She singled out his important engagement in supporting Kosovo sport on the international stage.
Particular recognition was accorded to Mr. Arat’s decisive role in Kosovo’s candidacy to host the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games, a landmark event for Kosovo sport and for the international affirmation of the Republic of Kosovo.
