President Osmani at the meeting with Japanese companies: Kosovo committed to Japanese investments in ICT, innovation, infrastructure and major engineering projects

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) together with some of the most well-known Japanese companies yesterday.

During the meeting, President Osmani noted the great potential for the expansion of economic relations between Kosovo and Japan, emphasizing that Kosovo offers a young, skilled and competitive workforce, as well as a favorable strategic position for access to European markets.

In this context, President Osmani presented the numerous opportunities for Japanese investment in the ICT sector, innovation, infrastructure, urban development and large engineering projects, where Japanese businesses can bring their experience and advanced technology. In this spirit, President Osmani invited JETRO and Japanese companies to explore opportunities in creating sustainable and long-term partnerships with the private sector in Kosovo.
