President Osmani and Minister Vitia were welcomed to the meeting by the director of the Gynecology Clinic Zef Ndrejaj and the medical staff, who then jointly visited the ward where IVF services will soon be offered.
President Osmani emphasized the importance of providing this service to citizens.
“A service, which until now has cost the couples in our Republic somewhere around 5 million euros shall, after proceeding with the purchase of the equipment, which, as we discussed with the minister, is expected to be completed during this year, be offered in public health institutions. The respective ward which was renovated and is completely new and will o offer high-quality services to young couples who want to become parents, and will of course use medically assisted fertilization methods,”, said President Osmani.
President Osmani thanked the minister, the director and all the staff for their tireless work in order for these services to be offered to the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo as soon as possible.
