The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, has departed to Poland to participate, along with other world leaders, at the commemorative ceremony of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi German concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz.
During the ceremony, in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, the touching stories of two survivors of the Auschwitz camp will be shared with the participants, recalling one of the darkest chapters in human history.
Auschwitz is a symbol of the Holocaust and the atrocities of World War II. In 2005, the United Nations declared January 27th International Holocaust Remembrance Day, to remember the victims and to urge the world to commit to never allowing such horrors to happen again.
