The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, has received a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence.
In his message, President Milanović expressed his heartfelt congratulations to President Osmani and to all the citizens of Kosovo, wishing progress and prosperity to our country.
He highlighted the traditionally friendly and close relations between the two states and stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation in areas of common interest, for the benefit of both peoples.
The Croatian President also underlined the important role of cooperation between Kosovo and Croatia for stability, security and cooperation in Southeastern Europe. He reiterated Croatia’s unwavering support to Kosovo’s integration into international organizations and regional cooperation formats, including its membership in the European Union and NATO.
