President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, on the occasion of Eid al Fitr, has conveyed her felicitations to the President of the Islamic Community of Kosova, Mufti Naim Tërnava and all the believers of the Muslim faith.
The felicitation states:
Honourable President of the Islamic Community of Kosova, Mufti Tërnava,
On the occasion of Eid al Fitr, to you personally, to the Muslim believers and to all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I wish that you enjoy this holy day in peace, solidarity and understanding with each other.
The Eid al Fitr holy day conveys the message of sacrifice, generosity, love and solidarity with all people in need. I wish that there is good health, plenitude, wellbeing, harmony and joy in each and every family.
On this festive day, more than on any other day, we must stop and reflect upon our work, our engagements and obligation which we have towards each other, our families, our friends and the society.
On the Eid al Fitr Day, we remember with particular respect all those who engaged for and sacrificed for our country.
