The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga is participating today in the activities in the framework of the Cultural Heritage Days 2014.
Together with the British Ambassador in Kosovo, Ian Cliff, the EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Samuel Žbogar and the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Prishtina, Tim Cartwright, after a trip by train from Prishtina to the city of Peja, Madam Jahjaga will visit a number of cultural monuments in the region of Peja.
In a statement before the departure from Prishtina, President Jahjaga said: “I am looking forward to the trip from Prishtina to Peja. It is a loaded agenda of visits to numerous cultural monuments, which are treasury of Kosovo. I encourage all the citizens of Kosovo to enjoy some of these cultural monuments, which are our country’s wealth, wealths of the Republic of Kosovo, because our country has a lot of things to be proud of and we have a lot to show the world”.
