President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, run today at the “Prishtina 2014 International Half Marathon”
At a statement issued on this occasion, President Jahjaga said that she took part at the Prishtina International Half Marathon in order to express her support for a different way of life, a healthier way of life, and provide her support to the tolerance which exists in our state and to the free life for all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
With my participation at this half marathon I wanted to give my support to all the women touched by breast cancer, for the awareness increase of all our citizens and provide a strong backing for all our mothers and sisters touched by this illness, illness which recognises no age and has no limitations, said President Jahjaga.
President Jahjaga congratulated the organisers of the half marathon run for a good organisation and added that this conveys an extremely good message from the capital of the Republic of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga also presented the medals to the winners of today’s half marathon run.
