The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga paid homage at the Memorial Complex in Prekaz, on the first day of the national manifestation “The Epopee of the Kosovo Liberation Army”.
In a statement made on this occasion, President Jahjaga said: “We came here today, on this special day to honor the figure and symbol of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the legendary commander Adem Jashari, to commemorate the individual and collective sacrifice of all those who fell for us, so that we today are a free country, an independent country, a sovereign country and a country which has a secure future towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration and in eternal friendship with the United States of America”.
