The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga received today the President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi and the President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Mr. Isa Mustafa to get informed about the preparations for the establishment of the new institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, namely the constitution of the Assembly of Kosovo and the creation of the new government.
President Jahjaga got informed about the progress of the negotiations between the two parties in the harmonization of the government program and the consolidation of the national priorities and encouraged the leaders of both political parties for having achieved interparty accordance for joint governance last week that within this month to create the relevant institutions in order to compensate the lost time in the fulfillment of the institutional obligations to the citizens of Kosovo.
The President of the PDK, Mr. Thaçi and the President of the LDK, Mr. Mustafa informed President Jahjaga that their political subjects and the working groups for the harmonization of joint governance coalition will be ready to call the session of the Assembly of Kosovo to elect the organs of this institution and to vote for the Government and its government program on December 8, 2014.
