President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, met today with a delegation of the Foundation of Her Excellency, Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Queen Mother of the United Arab Emirates, who delivered the notification of acceptance by Her Excellency for the building of the paediatric surgical centre and the department for treatment of paediatric cancer within the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga thanked Her Excellency for her and the support and care of the Royal Family of the United Arab Emirates for the citizens of Kosovo as well as their wellbeing, and pointed out that the continuation of this cooperation is a symbol of excellent bilateral relations and friendship between the two counties and nations.
The project of the building of the Paediatric Care Centre is expected to be launched during an official visit of a high level delegation from United Arab Emirates in December this year.
President Jahjaga is visiting United Arab Emirates by invitation of the Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
