Paris, November 11th – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, will attend tonight the dinner laid by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, at the start of the Paris Peace Forum.
After the dinner, President Thaçi will have a meeting with President Macron, with whom he will discuss Kosovo’s European perspective, with particular emphasis on the need for a warranted and immediate decision on visa liberalisation for the citizens of Kosovo.
Tomorrow, President Thaçi will be speaking at a special panel on successes and challenges of a sustainable peace in Kosovo.
Paris Peace Forum was held for the first time last year, at the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, which saw the end of the First World War and aims to bring together the heads of states, of main international organisations and other institutions in order to cooperative for the achievement and strengthening of the peace worldwide.
