The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani commemorated today General Ilir Konushevci on the 23rd anniversary of his passing.
President Osmani said that Ilir Konushevci converted the idea of the freedom of our country into a crucial cause.
“Ilir and freedom are one and the same. He fell for the freedom of the country, actualizing the activity with the name and the cause”, emphasized the President.

Since the 90s, Ilir Konushevci converted the idea of the freedom of our country into a crucial cause.
Initially with the”Shqiponjat (Eagles”) group, in service to the protection of the property of the people Kosovo, and then in the ranks of the KLA, becoming its leader in Llap area and a peerless supplier of weapons.
Ilir and freedom are one and the same. He fell for the freedom of the country, actualizing the activity with the name and the cause. On the 23rd anniversary of the falling of General Ilir Konushevci, we bow before his heroic deeds!
He fell in order to leave us the pledge of his murder, which will end when justice has its say.
