Prishtina, April 8, 2019 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, pursuant to the constitutional and legal powers, taking into account the letter of the Ministry of Local Government Administration and following a process of relevant consultations with the political parties and the Central Election Commission, issued today the decision on the scheduling and proclamation of the date of the extraordinary elections for Mayor in the municipalities: North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and Zvecan.
In accordance with this decision, the extraordinary elections for Mayors in these four municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo will be held on May 19, 2019.
