The President of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani received today the Ambassador of Austria in Kosovo, Mr. Weidiniger, who delivered the congratulations of the President of Austria, Mr. Alexander Van der Bellen, sent to President Osmani on the occasion of her election as President of Kosovo.
“Our states have always had close political, economic, cultural, but above all human relations”, it is said in the congratulatory letter of the President of Austria.
President Osmani expressed her gratitude to the state of Austria for the continuous support it has offered to Kosovo and expressed her happiness for the excellent relationship between Kosovo and Austria.
“We keep a vivid memory of the assistance that Austria has provided in the most difficult days we have gone through. The opportunity for education for our young people, who today are bearers of public responsibilities, is only one of the pillars of the Austrian support for the citizens of Kosovo”, said Mrs. Osmani.
Whereas, the Ambassador of Austria, Christoph Weidinger, reiterated the readiness of the Austrian state to continue further cooperation. Austria, according to its Ambassador, through the Development Agency will continue to assist Kosovo in many areas.
