The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, received today in a meeting the Ambassador of Turkey to Kosovo, Mr. Çağrı Sakar. Acting President Osmani and Ambassador Sakar discussed about the bilateral relations between the two countries, emphasizing the ongoing cooperation and good relations between the two countries.
The Acting President expressed her gratitude for the assistance provided by the Turkish state to the Republic of Kosovo and its citizens in various fields, especially recently during the pandemic. She stressed the fact that Turkey has provided assistance in treating patients at various stages which has been a great help to Kosovo.
Ambassador Sakar congratulated the Acting President for the result achieved in the elections of February 14, stating that the will of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo is clear and that it must be implemented through the creation of new institutions.
