Prishtina, October 20 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, departed today to Japan to attend Emperor Naruhito’s enthronement ceremony on Tuesday, October 22. The official ceremony will be attended by 2600 guests from all over the world, including many statesmen.
The official enthronement ceremony of Emperor Naruhito takes place six months after he inherited the throne from his father, Emperor Akihito, who abdicated in April this year.
President Thaçi will be received in an official meeting by the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, while he is expected to meet also other representatives of participating states at the official ceremony.
