Prishtina, November 6th 2018 – President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received today the Director for Continental Europe at the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Florence Mangin, with whom he discussed the cooperation between Kosovo and France, with special emphasis on the Peace Forum being held in Paris on November 11th .
President Thaçi emphasized that Kosovo appreciates the support that France is providing to Kosovo and asked for the continuation of this support, especially in immediate issues, such as INTERPOL membership and visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
Director Mangin stated that France supports Euro-Atlantic path of Kosovo.
President Thaçi, also confirmed that he will be in Paris on November 11th, among the 84 heads of states, in commemoration of veterans and victims of the First World War, but also to mark the inauguration and the first edition of the Peace Forum, a President Macron initiative.
