President Thaçi and Prime Minister Hoti hold a coordinative meeting on dialogue and the fight against the pandemic

Today, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Avdullah Hoti, with whom he discussed the inter-institutional coordination on the fight against the pandemic, the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia as well as other issues related to economic development, reforms and the economic package.

President Thaçi said that the effectiveness of the inter-institutional is of extreme importance to the country and to our society.

"We discussed how to overcome the pandemic better, easier and faster in respect of all the recommendations of experts and of the National Institute of Health. ”In this regard, we must all work together, to fully comply with all the measureless specified by the Institute, “said President Thaçi.

The head of the country reiterated that he welcomes the appointment of Skënder Hyseni as Dialogue Coordinator, and pointed out that the dialogue must not slip to the technical level.

"We must clarify the relationship between the state of Kosovo and Serbia, so that mutual recognition occurs and under no circumstances should we allow this process to go down to a technical level, because the Kosovo-Serbia relationship is purely political and not technical. At the technical level, it means the status quo and approval of Serbia’s agenda," stated Kosovo’s President
