The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani visited today the “Villaggio
Italia” KFOR camp in Peja, on the anniversary of the deployment of Italian soldiers in
Kosovo in 1999.
President Osmani said that the contribution of NATO soldiers over the years and their presence and continuous engagement in our country remains extremely valuable and an additional guarantee for the security of our country.

It is a special pleasure to visit today the “Villaggio Italia” KFOR camp in Peja, on the anniversary of the deployment of Italian soldiers in Kosovo, in 1999, together with our friends and other allies.
I would like to thank the KFOR Commander General Federici, the commander of the regional command West, Col. Marioriello, as well as the Ambassador of Italy to Kosovo, Mr. Nicola Orlando and the representatives of other participating countries, for the warm hospitality and for the reaffirmation of the commitment to security in Kosovo.
