The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has commemorated the patriot Ukshin Hoti, who for 22 years, continues to remain on the lists of the missing people.
President Osmani said that the fate of Ukshin Hoti is a plight of our society and our state, therefore the persistent efforts to clarify his fate should not cease for a single day.
“With a beautiful political work, a whole nation can be saved,” said Ukshin Hoti. “He started the idea of a 'beautiful political work' for freedom, the republic and democracy, but the ambitions of the political and philosophical thinker remained unfulfilled,” said the President.

On May 16, 1999, the patriot and thinker Ukshin Hoti was released from Dubrava Prison. Since that day, nothing about his fate is known, apart from the annual commemorations and attrition of our conscience for the political thinker, who for 22 years continues to remain on the lists of the missing people who have been violently abducted by the genocidal Serbian regime.
